You Are What You Eat
I am a firm believer in the old adage that you are what you eat.  Unfortunately, for most of my life I have not lived out that belief and now I am regretting it.  Add to that my extreme dislike of anything resembling exercise.  I think you get the picture.  As I grow older, my body is letting me know how poorly I have been treating it.  

I can’t give up.  I refuse to give up.  I have spent most of my life struggling with my weight… and I still am.  Some strategies were moderately successful while others were epic failures.  Few ever involved exercise. 

Now I am trying to right my wrongs of the past.  It is time to get serious.  On these pages I want to share things I have learned / am learning in the hopes that it might be helpful and encouraging to someone else.

Healthy Food for Everyone

This is one of my most favorite grocery stores.  They make it so easy to prepare healthy meals for my family because the chefs who operate the deli do all the work for me.  I love picking up the crusted parmesan chicken and popping it in the oven.  Even the picky eaters give it a thumbs up.  Thank you Earth Fare!

It has taken me several decades to learn how true that old adage is.  A healthy diet is so very important to your over all health.  Now I am learning much about how my poor eating habits over the past many years have played a role in my health now.
